Founder and President Ivon Rohrer Jr. recognized 29 years ago the demand for community shopping centers in the southeast region.
Since then, Development-Management, Inc. (DMI) has developed over 40 centers comprising almost 5 million square feet throughout
North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. Our core strengths are retail and self-storage as well as future developments and redevelopment. We are, and have always been, a privately-held organization.

Ivon Rohrer Jr. is the founder and president of DMI. Mr. Rohrer is directly involved with the development, management and
leasing of all commercial properties. He is directly responsible for land acquisitions, site evaluations, demographic studies
and major tenant negotiations. Prior to founding DMI in 1976, Mr. Rohrer worked for 7 years as Vice President of Real Estate
and Expansion for Eckerd Drugs.
Mr. Rohrer received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Davidson College and served as a Forward Air Control Pilot with the
United States Army during the Vietnam War. He has served on the Board of Directors for numerous organizations including
the Southern Appalachian Highland Conservancy, the Charlotte Citizens Veterans Committee, Hynes Sales, YMCA - Camp
Thunderbird, and the Boy Scouts of America for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area.

Susan Rose has been the controller, office manager, and corporate secretary for DMI for over 19 years.
She has 35 years of experience in real estate and construction accounting and is responsible for all accounting functions at
DMI. She previously served as assistant treasurer for a REIT, staff accountant for a large private resort, and controller for
a 562-unit apartment complex. Susan also operated a small bookkeeping service for several years while
raising a family.
Susan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Drexel University. She enjoys reading, cooking and traveling. |

Jay Fulcher is responsible for the operations of retail and self storage properties as a third-party manager for the owners. He has managed a wide range of properties including retail, storage, medical and long-term care facilities,
and has expertise in financial analysis and asset management, budgeting and fee-based consulting for storage and retail properties. He has experience with properties that operate through redevelopment, renovation and expansion.
Jay earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Masters of Business
Administration from Wake Forest University, and he is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Institute of Real Estate Management, a North Carolina Real Estate Broker, a Certified Self Storage Manager®, and a Certified Property Manager®.

Ivon Rohrer III has worked as a Development Associate for DMI since 2000. His main responsibilities
include new development, the asset management of DMI's existing retail portfolio, and the acquisition of investment
properties. His development responsibilities include site acquisition, anchor tenant leasing, investor relations, construction
oversight, and financing for retail and self-storage facilities. His asset management responsibilities include expansion and
redevelopment of existing shopping centers.
Ivon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000. He received
two nationally recognized academic and leadership-based full scholarships to attend UNC-CH: the Morehead Scholarship and the
National Coca-Cola Scholarship. Ivon attends Hope Community Church in Charlotte and enjoys hiking, fishing and snow skiing.
